This Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) sets out the basis on which Sirencharm (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose, or otherwise process personal data of our customers in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (“PDPA”). This Notice applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data held by organizations which we have engaged to collect, use, disclose, or process personal data for our purposes.
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address to help us learn about your browser and operating system.
Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for delivery, or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
If after you opt in, you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, and for the continued collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us via email: support@sirencharm.art
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
We will make a reasonable effort to ensure that personal data collected by us or on our behalf is accurate and complete.
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws. We will cease to retain your personal data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
We will ensure that any transfers of personal data to a territory outside of the UNITED STATES will be in accordance with the PDPA to ensure a standard of protection for personal data so transferred that is comparable to the protection under the PDPA.
We may disclose personal data to our global offices where it is necessary (i) to meet the purpose for which you have submitted the information; or (ii) to enable you to receive information at a later date that may be relevant and of interest to you. We may also transfer all data in our possession to a successor-in-interest to our business or assets.
Our store is hosted on Shopify. They provide us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Sirencharm stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your transaction. After that, your transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council (a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
For more insight, you may also want to read Shopify’s Terms of Service.
In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies regarding the information we must provide to them for purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend you read their privacy policies so you can understand how your personal information will be handled by them.
In particular, remember that some providers may be located in or have facilities located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you proceed with a transaction involving a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) where that provider or its facilities are located.
For example, if you are in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
